Home Automation: Keeping Up With the Jetsons
Home automation is set to explode in 2014. There's tons of products coming to market that are affordable to the average consumer and already wildly popular. I would personally like to thank the guys over at Kickstarter for giving people with great minds and great ideas the platform to get this stuff out to the world. Three devices that stick out are the Canary home security camera, the [already available] Nest thermostat and last but not least the August Smart Lock.
